The fun and make believe of taking on the role of shopkeeper, just for a day, and then the laughter at being photographed in the role. These photographs are from summer fetes in South County Dublin 1990s to 2010 The spirit of the Fete and the joy and laughter of Irish society is a lovely memory.

Although I took none of these I wanted to show them because the sense of composition and colour is so strong and they are just beautiful images and glimpses into peoples worlds.
